Philipe Brazuca is a Brazilian YouTuber born in Paraíba, in northeastern Brazil. He’s passionate about travel (so far, 19 countries and counting), loves adventure, and never misses a chance to step outside his comfort zone.
In 2013, after spending one year backpacking through eight countries in South America, he decided to stop in Medellín, Colombia, and start teaching Portuguese to foreigners.
Seeing how quickly people were learning sparked a growing passion. That motivation led him to create a YouTube channel where he teaches Portuguese to people from all over the world, using the same practical and immersive methodology.
In 2018, Philipe traveled across Latin America for six months, spending two weeks in each country giving talks and organizing meetups to practice Portuguese in real-life situations.
After years of teaching experience, in 2021 he launched his first book, “600 Short Stories in Portuguese for Foreigners.” Since then, the book has become a success among people who love learning Brazilian Portuguese.
Today, with over 180,000 subscribers, 10 million views on YouTube, and several free and paid Portuguese courses available on his website, Philipe is living his dream: traveling the world while helping thousands of people learn his language.
